Free Yourself

This week’s RiidingsbyRii was done with playing cards and Oracle cards. I’ll be reviewing them in a post soon to come. The good thing is I will be using these same divination tools for the duration of winter. I will say this: I absolutely love these oracle cards.

Getting to business. This will be a weekly segment for us here. I’ll divine to see how we should prepare for the week. And that will most likely be in alignment with the divination for the full moon. The cards I pulled for this week are Queen Mother Nanny, 10 of Clubs, King of Clubs, and the Ace of Spades. What does that mean? Is this a good combination or bad combination? Well lets chat a moment, shall we?

What could you be doing if your dreams came true? If you had divine protection to live those dreams at their fullest potential? If you were the creator and the curator of these dreams? What is manifestation if it is not a dream of your reality in this realm? Manifesting  your freedom is apart of your own liberation. No one can free you until you are ready to become free yourself. Walk with those unafraid of the journey. Those more curious of the other side than they are content with where they currently are. Freedom is on the other side. These are the messages from the overall card for this week. Liberation is the theme. We must not fear freedom. Freedom is a right given to every being born in this realm. Queen Mother Nanny may have been afraid but she did not let that keep her where she was told to go. She worked many days and many nights to liberate her people and she is here now telling us it is worth the fight. The end is everything you imagined it to be.

This Week we have to leave behind the old ways of maintaining our spirits. Get back to doing those cleanings, cleansings, protections, and reversals. Have you heard of praying through the good and the bad? This is the same thing often times we get comfortable with how things are, and we stop doing the protections in the same enthusiasm as we were when we were in need. We stop focusing on the money rituals because we have a little coin. We stop doing the self-love workings because we got a new partner. This card is reminding us to do the rituals. Say the prayers. Sweep the floor. Clean yo ass! All those things we need to do to make sure our spirits are in alignment to receive the energy we have manifested. Leave those dusty ass altars with someone who isn’t trying to elevate themselves. Feed your altar. Feed your dead folks. If all you were doing was saying a prayer here and there, go back to that. Your spiritual journey is not supposed to dismantle the foundation you already have. It’s supposed to build upon that. Methods change, rituals change but the foundation if it is a well rooted one, stands strong.

The Ace of Spades shows us that we are our main supporters. While the cheerleaders can perform and hype you up, they have their own job. You are left to carry yourself to freedom. If we were still waiting for another Malcolm X, do you believe the murderers of George Floyd or Amaud Aubery would be convicted and sentenced? I sure don’t. There’s no room for a savior dressing in white robes with a thorn crown to liberate you. This is YOUR ride to freedom you are the driver and the passenger. This ticket has your name on it. You have to understand this: You are equipped with every tool necessary to get you free.

Look to your manifestations being reality. Those dreams will be lived should you do your part and believe you are worthy of that life. If you are not already prepared and don’t know where to start manifesting, theres is a book I have read and believe is the best tool to use to get you started on your journey. I like to journal my journey and then look back and see how much I’ve grown since my last time in need. However you choose to spend your week make sure your magick responsibly and know you can learn to create the life you want.
